L'ambition de l'association Funambulo est d'investir des lieux délaissés, désaffectés, inhospitaliers.

"C'est pour cette raison qu'elle a invitée, le temps d'un week-end, le Collectif Music For Eggplant à poser sa tenture et ses valises, rue des Récollets, vendredi dernier. Ce groupe est composé de huit musiciens-artistes vaudois et parisiens. Riche de vingt-sept albums en trois ans et de vidéos, ces artistes sont allés à la rencontre des Neversois, « Il s'agit, pour nous, de sentir le moment, de trouver, de nourrir la scène locale, d'être ouverts et de réagir ». Après avoir organisé des ateliers de customisation d'aubergines (eggplant = aubergine) et de fabrication de marionnettes, Music For Eggplant a offert une performance musicale et sonore, ponctuée d'improvisation, de variations et d'interactions avec le public."
